St. Theresa Little Flower

ST. THERESA LITTLE FLOWER  CATHOLIC CHURCH

MEMPHIS, TENNESSEE

Completed in 1951, St. Theresa the Little Flower Catholic Church was built in the Italian Romanesque character with a bell tower, stained glass windows, and plaster interior finishes.

After decades of deferred maintenance, the original Ludowici clay tile roof was beginning to fail, causing visible moisture damage to many areas of the nave ceiling, walls, and choir loft.

The restoration required a comprehensive replacement of the roofing systems of the main church, bell tower, and adjoining arcaded walkways. Brand new Ludowici tile was selected and color-blended to preserve the character, beauty, and timeless appearance of the buildings. With a brand new roof to last generations, the church is positioned to pursue further restoration and beatification of the interior.
